Thornton Park is a very close community. We welcome new residents with a Welcome Wagon, plan socials, and encourage our neighbors and businesses alike to participate in our quarterly street cleanups.

scarecrows

Thornton Park loves autumn and Halloween! Many of our neighbors erect scarecrows to celebrate the season.

At our quarterly Neighborhood Association meetings, residents receive a crime report from our City Commissioner and OPD Liaison Officer.  Local happenings and safety concerns in the area are discussed. The TPNA Neighborhood Watch & Safety Committee includes our Block Captains.

New Neighbors receive a visit from our Welcome Wagon! Several resources are given out, including our new-resident Welcome Packet, Gardening & Recycling Guide, and Safety Guide. You can find them here, too.

It’s also great for new tenants!
